As most of you know we had three weeks of flu, bronchitis and a C-diff infection. Ed was in bed for two of the three weeks, but he is now doing therapy for 5 plus hours a day and has a come home date of October 30th. He is gaining strength. but still has a bad cough and they are keeping him on oxygen to keep him as strong as possible. All of your prayers and good thoughts have caused him to rally again and we are ready for the next chapter.
Kathy Whitworth came to see him on a day where he was really feeling puny, but he bounced back the next day.
We have both lost so much weight that now we can share a twin bed.
Martha brought Kiwi to visit and we are for sure going to get a dog!!
He is off of the feeding tube and they just keep bringing him things to eat.
He eats everything on his plate and then some.
Annie sent him some fun T-shirts that are generating lots of comments.
He is doing stairs so he can come home and his right leg has lots of movement and his shoulder and upper right arm are also coming back!!
He sure is working hard towards his "go home soon" goal!
