Settled in...

I was reviewing the blog world this afternoon and realized that this poor blog has been neglected!
...
However, neglected is something that Ed is NOT these days... he has Alice, a caregiver, and a variety of beautiful and talented therapists around him each and every day! Not to mention a handy son and one excellent cook of a daughter-in-law!
...
Ed has been home for over a month now and is on the mend. He loves to run errands, and go to the club for meals. He was cooped up for three months in a hospital room, he is ready to roam!
...
Here are some pictures Alice shared shortly after he was released from the hospital on October 30...

This is one of his favorite therapists (she was wearing a wig for Halloween!) just before he left to go home.

He walked out of the hospital on his own...everyone was so excited!

Here he is on his first visit to the club with his favorite bartender.

Oh how he loves Wal-Mart...now he loves Wal-Mart AND scooters!

Stairlift at the house...carnival rides daily!

On a visit back to the hospital, Ed was silly with one of his therapists...she is actually now a patient at the hospital until her twins are born!

Hmmm....one must wonder if his amazing recovery has something to do with all this attention from the ladies?? :)

More pictures will be posted soon! Ed has an amazing attitude, and his perseverance is so inspiring. We are all so very proud of him!
